Dowe House Nursing Home -  Alteration and Refurbishment

The works comprised structural alterations to create additional bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and providing two  new dining rooms

One of the problems of this project was that the works were to be carried out within  a fully functional Nursing Home at first and second floor level. No access was available through the main entrance or staircase. To over come the problem we removed windows and erected two external scaffolds. All site personnel, materials etc. were accessed via the scaffold

Scope of Works:
Demolition, alterations, brickwork & blockwork, diamond core drilling, new timber  doorsets, suspended ceilings, alterations to  heating systems, new electrical system incorporating lighting and call system, kitchen installation, vinyl and carpet flooring, sanitaryware, ceramic tiling, and decorating,
